Testing Software Purchases

As you all know I love to test out new software. I have not given up on my AI movie editor NOVA.AI, but I am limiting the time that I spend with it as it is to qwerky to depend upon.

I’ve purchased two bookmark/organizer type programs. One is called TabExtend and they have just released a new version along with a new name TabOS. I am not switching to TabOS yet, and so far TabExtend has worked okay, and is like a cross between a spreadsheet integrated into Chrome (or whatever other browser you have) to manage bookmarks within TabExtend. It has an interface that I’m still working on understanding, and you do loose some bandwidth (slows slightly your machine) but all in all not bad so far.

Second purchase TabsFolders this is one that I really envisioned prior to getting TabExtend, however I’m beginning to think that this one also may not be actually changing bookmarks. One thing that is advertised is the ability to share bookmarks with anyone. They don’t have to be on a TEAM or own the product and that is a big selling point. It was no longer offered on AppSumo, but I found that they were in essence giving the same deal on their company website. It was funny that they were also using a well edited AppSumo video to appear as their own for sales pitch. Lots of that going around these days.

There is a course that I’ve purchased lifetime access to for learning how to use Google Sheets better. I have not had time to use this much, and probably should more as when you learn how to use Google Spreadsheets often you don’t need to purchase additional software.

As always, Make every day this side of the dirt great.
