The evils of AI come down to this:
1. We all will have to learn how to communicate with this new AI entity in one form or another.
2. Not all AI is EVIL so get over it.
3. AI, like people, can make mistakes.
4. Each AI or program using same AI reacts differently.
5. Smart speakers are just the tip of the iceberg when learning how to talk to AI. My echo Dot Alexa is a perfect example. Yes there are ways to get your music if you ask right, without getting advertising for Amazon Music Unlimited.
6. Learning how to turn off AI is a big plus too.
7. There are always User Agreements involved and a lot of compromise, so read and heed rather than cry later.
